At 9:00 a.m. on May 30, 2024, the signing and unveiling ceremony of the China Squash Academy was held in the auditorium of the Green Tile Building of Shanghai Sport University. He Fengxiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Small Ball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sports of China, Jia Ning, Deputy Director, Wang Hao, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Luo Wenhua, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau, Chen Xingdong, Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Sports Bureau, Yang Zhi, Vice President of Tianjin Institute of Physical Education, Li Yin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Sport University, Mao Lijuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, and Yang Ling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the ceremony. Gao Binghong, Dean of the School of Competitive Sports of Shanghai Sport University, attended by relevant department leaders, Shanghai Squash Association board members, and all members of the national squash team.

The ceremony kicked off with the solemn national anthem. Li Yin delivered a welcome speech, warmly welcoming the leaders and guests, and expounded on the development path of the China Squash Academy. Afterwards, Wang Hao and Luo Wenhua delivered speeches respectively. They said that under the guidance of the General Administration of Sports, the Small Ball Center, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, the Municipal Education Commission and the Municipal Sports Bureau will actively support the construction of the China Squash Academy and the development of squash. Jia Ning read out the congratulatory letter from the Asian Squash Association on the establishment of the China Squash Academy at the meeting.

Under the joint witness of Director He Fengxiang, Secretary Li Yin, President Mao Lijuan, Deputy Director Wang Hao, Deputy Director Luo Wenhua, Deputy Director Chen Xingdong, and Vice President Yang Zhi, Jia Ning and Yang Ling signed the co-construction agreement of China Squash Academy on behalf of the Small Ball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and Shanghai University of Sport.

Witnessed by representatives of the national squash team, He Fengxiang and Mao Lijuan jointly unveiled the China Squash Academy.

Afterwards, He Fengxiang delivered a speech, hoping that the China Squash Academy and Shanghai University of Sport would bravely shoulder their mission and contribute to the high-quality development of Chinese squash.

After the ceremony, the leaders, guests and members of the national squash team took a group photo.

The establishment of the China Squash Academy will inject new vitality into the development of Chinese squash. The academy will be committed to cultivating high-level squash athletes, coaches and other talents, and strive to promote the popularization and improvement of squash and help the development of Chinese sports.
